I think that what you published was very logical. But, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't good., however what if you added a headline to possibly grab people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You ought to peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they write news headlines to get viewers to click. You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab people interested about what you've got to say.
